Sabor a Mi offers a wide selection of the Best Tequilas from Mexico. You can enjoy the best Reposado, Anejo and Extra Anejo.We recommend you to drink it the way Mexicans do: Sip it straight followed by a wedge of lime and salt, then chase it with our delicious house-prepared Sangrita.

Our History

Sabor a Mi Grill Tequila & Botanas, was established by Elizabeth Hart and Martha Dovali who wanted to serve Mexican Food with the authentic flavor of the different regions of Mexico. Searching for a perfect name they decided to name the restaurant Sabor a MI after the title of a romantic bolero song.Sabor a Mi was internationally popularized by Trio Los Panchos, who collaborated on their rendition with Eydie Gormé in 1964.The translation of one verse is: A thousand years may pass, I don’t know if love exists in eternity, but there just as here, in your lips you’ll always have a taste of me. Liz and Martha liked the play on words that would mean someone would carry in their lips the taste of the food served at SABOR A MI.

Sabor a Mi, Grill Tequila & Botanas, is a well-appointed, nicely-decorated restaurant where the customers enjoy Fine Mexican Cuisine in a comfortable setting, while romantic bolero music plays in the background. Service is excellent, and the food and beverages are outstanding

Liz and Martha have traveled around the world enjoying the culinary delicacies of Mexico, North, Central and South America, Europe, Asia, the Mediterranean and Africa. Dining in many internationally known restaurants such as Pujol in Mexico City, Rosa Mexicano in San Francisco, Tulancingo del Valle in N.Y., Bouchon in LA, as well as in fondas, small town kitchens, corner stands and many other places, they have learned to appreciate excellence in food.

When Elizabeth was young she used to help at her grandmother’s Mexican restaurant in Cuernavaca, Mexico, where she learned the roots and real flavors of the Mexican Cuisine. Those experiences and the years spent working in hotels such as Sheraton, Marriott, Courtyard, Golf clubs, and other Restaurants, have given her the knowledge and the confidence to develop a menu based primarily in Mexican Cuisine prepared with ingredients and seasonings that have given Mexican Food international recognition.

Reservations
