Our Story

Sabor a Mi Grill Tequila & Botanas is a Gourmet Mexican Food restaurant that was established in 2018 by Chef Elizabeth Hart who wanted to serve Mexican Food with the authentic flavor of different regions of Mexico. Sabor a Mi, Grill is a well-appointed, nicely decorated restaurant where the customers enjoy Fine Mexican Cuisine in a comfortable setting, while romantic bolero music plays in the background. The food, the ambiance, and the hospitality are outstanding.

When Elizabeth was young, she used to help at her mother’s Mexican restaurant in Mexico, where she learned the roots and diverse flavors of the Traditional Mexican Cuisine. She has traveled extensively enjoying the culinary delicacies of Mexico in fondas, small-town kitchens, corner stands, and many other places in North, Central, and South America, Europe, Asia, the Mediterranean, and Africa.

Those experiences and her studies in The Cordon Bleu Culinary School plus years passed working in hotels, golf clubs, and many restaurants have given her the knowledge and the confidence to develop a menu based primarily on Mexican Cuisine prepared with ingredients and seasonings that have given Mexican Food international recognition.

The menu is based on authentic dishes from the heart of Mexico prepared with very old spices and herbs plus contemporary ingredients and the creativity of Chef Liz Hart. The food shows the fusion of ancestral indigenous plates with modern cuisine plated in a manner to highlight the main ingredient.
