Sabor a Mi Grill Tequila & Botanas, was founded by Elizabeth Hart and Martha Dovali wanting to show that Mexican Food is more than tacos and burritos.
Liz and Martha have traveled extensively around the world enjoying the culinary delicacies of North, Central and South America, Europe, Asia, the Mediterranean and Africa. Dining in many internationally known restaurants such as :Pujol, Mexico City, Rosa Mexicano, San Francisco, Tulancingo de Valle in N.Y., Bouchon in LA,
as well as in fondas, small town kitchens, corner stands, and many other places they have become great foodies.
Those experiences and the years spent by Elizabeth helping at her grandmother’s Mexican restaurant in Cuernavaca, have given her the knowledge and the confidence to develop a menu based primarily in Mexican
cuisine prepared with the ingredients and seasonings that have given Mexican Food international recognition.
Sabor a Mi, Grill Tequila & Botanas, is a well-appointed, nicely-decorated restaurant where the customers will enjoy Fine Mexican Cuisine, where the service is excellent, and the food and beverages are outstanding.
The restaurant has 22 tables. Where 100 customers can enjoy their dishes in
comfort. Sabor a Mi has a full bar that seats 10.
Mexico is a large country, and each one of its 30 states is lush with the culinary delicacies of its
native ancestors and the humble ingredients they used to cook: Corn, Beans, Cactus, Magueys,
Chiles, Prickly Pears, Pitaya, Cacao, Spices and Herbs.
Chef Hart has created the menu for Sabor a Mi with the same humble ingredients and spices of
her forefathers and enriched them with the zest of her own hands and her imagination and
In Sabor a Mi’s menu we have dishes from all regions of Mexico, like Sopes, Enchiladas,
Flautas, Pozole, Birria, Mole, Tamales from Jalisco in central Mexico and Mixiotes, Molletes,
Huaraches and more lamb dishes from State of Mexico.
In the South we find the delicious
Cochinita Pibil, Panuchos, Habanero chiles, and delicious tamales wrapped in plantain leaves.
Oaxaca offers delicious Moles, Tlayudas, and of course the now trendy Mezcal. The richness of
Mexico’s oceans inspired the Ceviche Verde, Fish, Oysters, Shrimp and other kinds of seafood.

Botanas are small servings or tasty appetizers, which are traditionally served in all homes in
Mexico, to be enjoyed together with a delicious drink, beer, tequila or cocktail before lunch or
dinner are served.
Sabor a Mi’s Tequila Bar displays the Tequila as a drink to savour and enjoy. Tequila has
become a drink for connoisseurs and there are many fine tequilas as good as the best cognacs.
Its menu offers a sample of the finest tequilas that will allow our guests to taste them and make
a selection or two their favorite.
We are glad to share with those interested in the manufacturing and aging of tequilas,
understand why it has achieved international acclamation.

Valley Bulletin. and food critics such as Allan Borgen, David Cohen and David Allen.
Sabor a Mi was listed in January of 2019 among the 20 Best Restaurants in the Inland Valley
Daily Bulletin and Yelp’s Best 10 Restaurants.
